Soccer Recap: South Brunswick Takes a Loss

South Brunswick lost against Ashley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars lost 9-0 to the Screaming Eagle. While losing is never fun, South Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Ashley are ranked tenth).

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 6-11-3. As for Ashley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2-2 record this season.

South Brunswick didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against West Brunswick on the 7th. Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
