Softball Recap: Au Gres-Sims Takes a Loss

Au Gres-Sims fell victim to All Saints Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Friday.

Au Gres-Sims saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Skacal, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Adelaide Bauer also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Au Gres-Sims' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for All Saints Central, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home.

Au Gres-Sims does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for All Saints Central, they will head out to challenge Mayville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
