Shawnee Mission Northwest and Shawnee Mission South faced off in a cross-town battle on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The result was nothing new for Shawnee Mission Northwest as the squad haven't won a game since August 29th.

Shawnee Mission Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Shawnee Mission South, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
