Football Recap: Broadview/Lavina Comes Up Short

Broadview/Lavina managed to slip by Roy/Winifred the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates took a blow against the Outlaws on Friday, falling 53-13. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Broadview/Lavina's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Roy/Winifred, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Broadview/Lavina will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Reed Point/Rapelje at 1:00 p.m. on October 4. Roy/Winifred does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
