Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley View). They strolled past the Batesville Pioneers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-35. The victory continues a trend for the Blazers in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Batesville lost, don't look at Cole Bentz. Despite the final result, he threw for 337 yards and five touchdowns. Caleb Murrah handled things on the ground, rushing for 84 yards.

Valley View's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Batesville, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.
