Volleyball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oxbridge Academy can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jupiter Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The ThunderWolves haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 23-25, 25-11.

When it comes to explaining why Oxbridge Academy lost, don't look at Olivija Kozul. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and seven aces. Kozul has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Jupiter Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tessa Cochran, who had five digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Murray, who had four digs and four aces.

Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Jupiter Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.

Oxbridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jupiter Christian, they will face off against Benjamin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
