Baseball Recap: Sand Rock Comes Up Short

Sand Rock lost against Donoho back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Sand Rock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Gifford, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Sand Rock's record is now 5-17. As for Donoho, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

While Sand Rock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
