Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Coolidge

Coolidge extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Josslyn Derricott. The Coolidge Colts really took it to the Bard Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 103-2 victory thanks in part to Derricott, who dropped a double-double on 50 points and 11 rebounds. Those 50 points gave her a new career-high.

Coolidge's record is now 16-1. As for Bard, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coolidge will take on Cardozo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Coolidge's defense has only allowed 24.4 points per game this season, so Cardozo's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bard, they will square off against Jackson-Reed at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
