Softball Recap: Morrilton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pottsville on Friday, Morrilton came back down to earth. The Devil Dogs lost 11-1 to the Conway Wampus Cats on Monday. The Devil Dogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wampus Cats from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Morrilton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Conway, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrilton will venture away from home to square off against Robinson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Devil Dogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Conway, they will square off against Greenbrier at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
