The Midland Valley Mustangs are on the road again on Friday to play the Irmo Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. Irmo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Midland Valley, who comes in off a win.
Midland Valley never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Florence Christian last Friday. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Eagles.
Nate Evans made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Evans was even better at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Midland Valley skirted past Irmo 6-5 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for Midland Valley since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
