Volleyball Recap: Oak Mountain Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Oak Mountain Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers 3-0. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oak Mountain Academy was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-5.

Ella McWhorter paced Oak Mountain Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. McWhorter got some help from Catherine Rooks and her 14 assists. Keira Lea controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The win got Oak Mountain Academy back to even at 12-12. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Oak Mountain Academy and Central Fellowship Christian Academy will both be playing Covenant Academy the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lancers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
