Softball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown fell victim to St. Helena and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Saints, falling 10-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Middletown has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for St. Helena, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middletown will face off against rival Fort Bragg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Helena is set to square off against their familiar foe Lower Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
