Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). They really took it to the Hicksville Aces for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-22 victory. The result was nothing new for the Apaches, who have now won seven games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Hicksville lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cross Zeedyk, who rushed for 143 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Collin Leavell was another key player, gaining 150 total yards and two touchdowns.

The win was the fourth in a row for Fairview, bringing their record up to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.5 points on average over those games. As for Hicksville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Fairview will face off against Tinora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hicksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
