Softball Recap: Opp Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Opp faced off against Wicksburg on Friday. The Bobcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bobcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Opp's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Wicksburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Opp wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Dale County on the 13th. Hopefully Wicksburg paid attention to the Bobcats' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Bobcats at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
