Softball Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Starts off Right with Win over Comstock Park

Forest Hills Eastern had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Comstock Park Panthers a 17-0 shutout on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Emilee Nowicki, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Sophia Tabin was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Forest Hills Eastern Hawks face off against West Catholic Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Comstock Park, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holland Christian at 4:15 p.m. on April 1.
