Softball Recap: Hebron Takes a Loss

Hebron and Andrean squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hebron had to settle for second. They came up short against the Fighting 59ers, falling 11-5. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to the Fighting 59ers when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Macey Siminski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Andrean, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Hebron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrean, they will face off against Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting 59ers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redskins have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
