Volleyball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North lost against McAllen Memorial back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-18.

Leading McAllen Memorial to victory were Juliet Trevino and Bree Garcia. Trevino had four digs and two aces, while Garcia had ten assists.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for McAllen Memorial, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 31-8.

Coincidentally, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and McAllen Memorial will both be playing McAllen the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
