For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Stevenson and Huron meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 4-2. The Spartans have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Stevenson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Yatooma, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Andrew Grzanowski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stevenson fell to 3-1. As for Huron, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Stevenson by a score of 14-0 later that day.
