Soccer Game Preview: Washington International vs. The Heights

The Washington International Red Devils will face off against The Heights at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Washington International had been on an 11-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Don Bosco Cristo Rey put an end to it on Friday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Washington International couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, The Heights entered their tilt with St. Mary's Ryken on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Heights' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

The Heights' win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Washington International, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.
