Softball Game Preview: Berkley Bears vs. Lutheran Warriors

The Berkley Bears will take on the Lutheran Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Berkley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Berkley didn't have quite enough to beat Farmington and fell 6-5. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyse Muscat made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Brooke Schall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Lutheran suffered their biggest loss since April 4th on Thursday. They came up short against Plymouth Christian Academy, falling 14-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Berkley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15-1. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
