Rauner wins going away against Hancock

Recap: Rauner Wildcats vs. Hancock Eagles

On Friday, everything went Rauner's's way against Hancock as Rauner made off with a 47-25 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rauner.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rauner to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vashawn Dorsey, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Dorsey is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Yahweh Anderson, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.

Rauner now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hancock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rauner's road trip will continue as they head out to face Muchin College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. As for Hancock, they will square off against Dunbar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Dunbar's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Hancock has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
