Rock Canyon came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Horizon Hawks 4-0. Rock Canyon might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Horizon with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tuula Tarkka, Millie Goblirsch, Maddie Schriefer, and Emmy Kasperson.

Rock Canyon pushed their record up to 11-2-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2.
