Basketball Recap: Trigg County Takes a Loss

Trigg County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 90-74 to the Caldwell County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-31 last Friday.

Trigg County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Caldwell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Trigg County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 78-64 loss against Webster County on the 11th. As for Caldwell County, they have also already played their next contest, a 94-39 win against Crittenden County on the 11th.
