Baseball Game Preview: New Hope-Solebury Lions vs. William Tennent Panthers

For the second straight game, New Hope-Solebury will face off against William Tennent. The Lions will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It was a proper cat-fight when New Hope-Solebury took on William Tennent on Wednesday. The Lions came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-1. Lions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Wednesday.

Blake McCagg made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

William Tennent's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for New Hope-Solebury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
