Football Recap: Pearland Oilers vs. Fulshear Chargers
Pearland couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 19-12 to the Fulshear Chargers on Thursday.
Pearland's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Anthony DeLeon, Cyrus Reyes, and Quinton Murray picked up one apiece.

Pearland will look to defend their home field on Friday against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. As for Fulshear, they are taking a road trip to take on Ridge Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fulshear is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
