Ballard Christian entered their tilt with Wiregrass on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Kings with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Wiregrass saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Josie Duren had 12 digs and two aces.

Ballard Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Wiregrass, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Ballard Christian and Wiregrass will both be playing Ezekiel Academy the next time they take the court. The Kings will host the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagle will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
