In what's become a running theme this season, the Westbrook Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by Highland on the road to the tune of 56-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Westbrook has posted yet this season.
Ethan King was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Parker Matlock was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Westbrook is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westbrook will take on Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hermleigh at 7:15 p.m.
