Softball Recap: Hugoton Eagles vs. Stanton County Trojans
Hugoton extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They fell 4-0 to the Stanton County Trojans. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 18-2 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

On the hitting side, Kynzi Fehringer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Kendrick, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stanton County beat Hugoton by a score of 2-1 later that day.
