Westlake's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Austin Maroons by a score of 3-1. The Chaparrals haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Westlake hit Austin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gavin Nguyen, Gavin Chibib, and Simon Katz.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Austin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Coming up, Westlake will challenge Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin, they will face off against Akins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Akins' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
