Basketball Recap: Flora Takes a Loss

Flora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Carmi-White County Bulldogs 67-35. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 556th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 206th).

Flora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Carmi-White County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Flora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-22 loss against Newton on the 14th. Carmi-White County will take on Richland County in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
