Neshoba Central has gone 9-1 against Grenada recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rockets will take on the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Neshoba Central will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Neshoba Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over Center Hill. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Grenada posted their closest win since March 22nd on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Vicksburg 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Mary Taylour Wilbourn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Grace Ann Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Madison Woodard was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Grenada pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Neshoba Central, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.

Neshoba Central beat Grenada 6-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2021. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
