Waynesburg Central had already won 20 in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 21 on Thursday. They blew past the Bentworth Bearcats 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Waynesburg Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-25, 25-8.

Leading Waynesburg Central to victory were Lelia McCollum and Chatham Knight. McCollum had ten digs and seven aces, while Knight had 17 assists and two aces. Those seven aces gave McCollum a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Waynesburg Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 19 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Waynesburg Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
