Basketball Recap: Hazlehurst's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Hazlehurst had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Collins Tigers with a 63-57 victory on Friday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

It was another big night for Jakavion Johnson, who posted 26 points. Another player making a difference was Gregory Mack, who had nine points.

Hazlehurst's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Collins, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Hazlehurst will head out on the road to face off against Jim Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collins, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Collins Tigers duke it out with the Sumrall Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
