Brooks County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Baker County Bears. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 10, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Brooks County took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13.

Brooks County's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Baker County, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
