Recap: Hanford Falcons vs. Pasco Bulldogs
The Hanford Falcons had to endure a ten-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 56-49 win over Pasco on Saturday. Hanford's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Pasco saw an underclassman step up: Mia Salgado scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Salgado scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Leilani Sanders, who scored ten points.
Hanford's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5. As for Pasco, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanford will be home for the holidays to greet East Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. East Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Pasco will be home for the holidays to greet Hermiston at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hermiston is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
