Volleyball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Homer Mariners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mariners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Homer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Houston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mountain City Christian Academy on the 30th. As for Homer, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Valdez on the 30th.
