Football Recap: Randall Starts Season with Win Against Plainview

Randall had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Plainview Bulldogs with a sharp 44-23 win on Friday. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Kaison Benton had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 61 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 255 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randall will host Monahans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainview, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pampa at 7:00 p.m.
