Baseball Recap: Annapolis Takes a Loss

Annapolis lost against Riverview back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars lost 15-6 to the Pirates. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Harris was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. He has become a key player for Annapolis: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Gael Martinez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Riverview, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-28.

As of now, neither Annapolis nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
