Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Comes Up Short

Bloomfield Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Troy Colts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-4 loss on Tuesday.

Bloomfield Hills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler M, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that M has launched this season. Jack S was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bloomfield Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Troy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Bloomfield Hills will challenge Cranbrook Kingswood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Black Hawks are facing the Cranes at the right time seeing as the Cranes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Troy, they are taking a road trip to take on North Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
