It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sedgwick County can now relate to. They took a 50-32 bruising from the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes on Thursday. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bishop Machebeuf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but John Menke led the charge by putting up 12 points and four steals. Menke has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Matthew Menke was another key player, scoring 12 points.

Sedgwick County's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Bishop Machebeuf, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-4.
