Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Columbus

Columbus waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Park City Panthers with a sharp 51-27 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Columbus' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.6 points over those games. As for Park City, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-13 victory against Joliet on the 14th. As for Park City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-37 loss against Shields Valley on the 14th.
