While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Milana Hess. On Wednesday she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Coming up, Hess and West Campus will venture away from home to face off against Monterey Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hess had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 9-2. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
