Volleyball Recap: Kelly Hawks vs. East Prairie Eagles
Kelly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the East Prairie Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8, 25-11.
Kelly's loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for East Prairie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Hawks challenges Eagle Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Prairie, they will take on Sikeston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. East Prairie will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
