Football Game Preview: Lummi Blackhawks vs. Charles Wright Tarriers

The Lummi Blackhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Charles Wright Tarriers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lummi has given up an average of 33 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lummi is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Neah Bay on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Red Devils. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Charles Wright lost 48-24 to La Conner on Friday.

Charles Wright's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lummi, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Lummi took a serious blow against Charles Wright in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 53-14. Can the Blackhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
