Baseball Recap: South Salem Saxons vs. West Salem Titans

In what's become a running theme this season, South Salem gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against the West Salem Titans as the South Salem Saxons made off with a 17-4 win. 17 seems to be a good number for South Salem as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

South Salem got a great performance from Kellen Bowman as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Teagan Scott was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Nelson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
