Baseball Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

Oak Ridge suffered their closest loss since April 7th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rocklin Thunder by a score of 6-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Thunder: they've now lost three in a row.

Noah Teply was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Timms, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Rocklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-13-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oak Ridge beat Rocklin by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
