            Baseball Recap: Brush Beetdiggers vs. Alamosa Mean Moose        
        
		
        
        
            Brush and Alamosa squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Brush had to settle for second. They came up short against  the Mean Moose, falling  8-2. Having soared to a lofty ten  runs in the game before, the Beetdiggers couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Brush saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Landon Mesch, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  run. Another  was  Percy Odle, who  got on base  in two of his three plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Brush has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record  this season. As for Alamosa, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
As of now, neither Brush nor the Mean Moose have any future games scheduled.
