Volleyball Recap: Baptist Prep Wins Going Away Against Mena

With a playoff win on the line, Baptist Prep rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Mena Bearcats 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Baptist Prep never let Mena on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-23.

Baptist Prep had a senior duo take command as Kayla Midkiff had 13 digs and four aces and Caroline Chapman had ten digs and eight assists. Midkiff is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Baptist Prep's win bumped their record up to 19-13-1. As for Mena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-10.

Baptist Prep has already played their next match (against Pocahontas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mena also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Huntsville.
