Baseball Game Preview: Farmington Tigers vs. Concord Christian Kingsmen

Farmington hasn't had much luck against Concord Christian recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m. Farmington has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Farmington is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Monday. They lost 12-2 to Nute.

Meanwhile, Concord Christian lost a heartbreaker to Mascenic Regional when they met back in June of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Kingsmen fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Kingsmen in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Andrew Doyle put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Doyle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Doyle wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was TJ Charbono, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Concord Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
