Volleyball Recap: Marshalltown Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Marshalltown challenged Linn-Mar on Saturday. The Bobcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Marshalltown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Linn-Mar, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

Marshalltown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Urbandale on the 27th. As for Linn-Mar, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northwest on the 27th.
